ykeyre Posted May 23 Posted May 23 So I have done 51 hours of cruising so far without touching the Navigraph OIS map and have not had a single WASM freeze. This is a unique kind of wasm which is not registered in the console. The plane avionics all freeze up. The aircraft tilts 5 degrees to the left-hand side. Navigraph seems to be the culprit here! I've not experienced any FPS drops either. So, you might want to try it out yourself and report back here if my suggestion works for you! 1
ykeyre Posted May 23 Author Posted May 23 I'd like to add another item causing WASM freezes. The WX radar appears to make it run out of memory during severe weather scenarios. So, keep that off too if you are in a harsh weather environment.
Randolf Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Also not using the engines might help. Or why don't we use a Cessna 172 instead? There will not be any WASM crashes, 100% guaranteed. I don't think avoiding the plane and it's features is the right approach. I'd much rather see the bugs fixed. 1
ykeyre Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 I figured out the crash. If you, ALT + TAB and switch to another window, it will trigger a WASM crash during a flight. I tried leaving the sim untouched without switching windows. I kid you not, no more WASM crashes! Try it yourself.
kerkhoff Posted Wednesday at 12:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:15 PM Hi, that is more then I can get.. No way to start the Navigraph moving maps (flight option) in EFB of Inibuilds A350. For the airports, no problem to get APT, DEP, APR, APP. Worthwhile to note that in these cases the left part choices are almost impossible to read, making it a casino mouse choice.. For the Enroute option, of which it is unclear if from Navigraph, only a position is shown, but not the Simbrief route. Actual photos from a real A 350 cockpit show these graphs. The comments in this section indicate that people can see the Navigraph moving map in the EFB. Is that true, and if yes, how did you accomplish?
AVGA Posted Thursday at 12:26 AM Posted Thursday at 12:26 AM All I get are freezes and CTDs since the last update. Did everything that everyone has suggested - including on this thread - and plane remains impossible to use since last update. And this is the only plane that does it. Fenix will go around the world without a single issue. Inibuilds can’t get to level cruise without crashing out, since the last update. Wtf.

That is strange for it to be happening every flight, what things have you done to rectify it? Want to get to the bottom of the issue for you.
AVGA Posted yesterday at 03:49 AM Posted yesterday at 03:49 AM Hi, Thank you. I’ve tried not using Navigraph data in the OIS, not using the OIS map, not using WX, and not using terrain - all of which was suggested to me. I’ve also cleared the WASM folder. But every flight freezes at some point … only since the last update. Can happen any time, though so far not while on the ground. Cockpit just freezes while sound continues to play, along with SayIntentions, which isn’t affected. Also, the sim doesn’t CTD. It just seizes up, and I have to force quit it to return to desktop. But PC is fine, as in, clicking off the sim is fine. And there is nothing reported in event viewer. welcome your thoughts. Also, can you confirm how to resume an auto save? Tried to restore a frozen flight - from the ground by getting back into A350 and selecting the last save from the OIS menu - and I ended up back in the saved flight with a cold and dark airplane, leading to a flight crash that went on loop until I quit the sim.
