kutyafal Posted April 25 Posted April 25 (edited) Would be very useful. Also, is there a mappable command for the checklist complete action? Edited April 25 by kutyafal
Eddie Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Hello, You can press LEFT CTRL to enter the field you want to input data into, then ENTER to finalise. There is not a mappable command for the checklist, as far as I'm aware. Let me know if you have any more questions! Thank you 🙂 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
kutyafal Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 I'm sorry but it's not working for me. Do you hold down LEFT CTRL and THEN click into the box? Or hold it while typing? I tried both, not working.
Eddie Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Hello, It should work simply by pressing it once. That'll enable physical keyboard entry. Are you sure you're selecting the field you want to edit prior to clicking LCTRL? EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
kutyafal Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 I'm not sure what's wrong but it's not working. We're talking about the A400m, right? My keyboard works on the tablet but not on the CDU, no matter what I do. Click into field then press left CTRL on my physical keyboard as you said. Nothing. 😞
Eddie Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Oh my.. so.. I may or may not have misread the category. So used to replying to A350 threads. Terribly sorry!! Unfortunately, the A400M does not support physical input, no. I believe it has been requested to MS/Asobo in the past. We'll see if we'll be asked to implement this or not. Again, apologies and thank you 🙂 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
kutyafal Posted April 27 Author Posted April 27 (edited) No worries, I had a hunch that we're x-talking, that's why I asked. I guess it would make sense to implement it since the avionics are similar to the A350. And some way to check off checklist items via a command (even if remapped to a non-used MSFS command) would be also welcomed. Or maybe making the checklist screen clickable with the mouse only when the checklist is displayed (like on the ATR). Edited April 27 by kutyafal
