Lukasz Krajnik Posted Friday at 10:59 PM Posted Friday at 10:59 PM (edited) Hi IniBuilds! Since 1.0.7 I have noticed fps drop when switching to OFP page in OiS and moving cursor (in VR always FPS drop, in 2D high CPU usage). I made clean 1.0.8 install, WASM cleared, NAVIGRAPH credentials renewed, same issue. Other OiS pages are not affected. Edit: I use DLSS preset K Do you have any idea what causes it? Cheers Lukasz M Krajnik Edited Friday at 11:34 PM by Lukasz Krajnik
Eddie Posted Monday at 12:31 PM Posted Monday at 12:31 PM Hello Lukasz, Is this something you're still experiencing on 1.0.8? Thank you EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
Lukasz Krajnik Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Hi Eddie, Yes, same on 1.0.8. Only OFP page is affected. Difficult to recognize in 2D because of large cpu/gpu power reserve (so I can only see it in task manager and hear increase in fan speed) but in VR very clear because of stutters everytime fps drop desynchronizes with refresh rate of VR hardware. I can reproduce this every time regardless panel state, stage of flight and scenery. It is enough to open OFP page with mouse coursor on it (same issue with or without OiS coursor). I could have thought that OFP page would be the least demanding for CPU/GPU but here it is just opposite. I would be grateful for any suggestions as to what might be causing this and possibly a workaround. It is quite annoying in preflight preparation when moving head between OiS and MFDs and getting massive stutters. Same after takeoff, I had to resign from standard checks flight progress vs flight plan fuel and time because of it. Apart from that I think that the 1.0.8 version is very stable also in VR. Have several long hauls over 12-13 hours without CTD or other issues. Really love this airframe which is now my favorite even ahead of 777 from PMDG. Cheers! Lukasz
