OnAirSim Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Hello Guys, I switched to medium texture resolution because it really improves the stability and performance but... I noticed that the OANS gets really blurry the lower you switch your texture resolution. should it be like this? Or is it a bug? would love to see improvements there if possible! Happy Flying!
Eddie Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Hello, What kind of anti-aliasing option are you currently on? I've tried going through all texture resolution options and have no issue. Sharp on TAA and Balanced/Quality versions of DLSS/AMD FSR. Once you start going into the performance options for those upscales, the OIS and other screens tend to get slightly blurry, but there's no way to counteract that, unfortunately. Just to make sure, do you mind grabbing me a screenshot of how it looks for you? Thank you 🙂 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
OnAirSim Posted April 16 Author Posted April 16 (edited) Hello, Thanks for your reply! I run TAA and also high to ultra settings. I noticed that you need to download a new map via the oans to see the difference everytime you change the texture resolution. for example if you want to see omdb on the oans and download it with high texture set and after that you change it to medium you will still see the same quality. so download omdb with high and eddm with medium and then switch between them. Medium is not really enjoyable. High is pretty good and Ultra is great. Here is a picture of the oans with medium texture resolution As you can see its blurry... If I set the texture to high I would still see the same. Edited April 16 by OnAirSim
Eddie Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Hi again, Thank you for the follow-up. I'll bring this to the team as I've noticed similar reports as well. Thank you! We'll see what we can do 🙂 1 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
