Annolago Posted August 11 Posted August 11 I am afraid that I have to agree. Promising and not then being silent is not a great look. At least give us some updates. Even if the news are that you have run into issues. Not hearing makes us - your customers - think you really don't care. Which makes me think that maybe my next purchase will be from someone else..
Eddie Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Hello, I understand the frustration however, there's the if we say nothing, it's a problem and if we say something, it's not enough. We unfortunately cannot please everyone. We have approached this topic both ways and it seems we still cannot make anyone happy. Again, I say what I said 3 weeks ago; it is in the works and proving to be a lengthy process, especially with the update cycle that is the default aircraft as we do not have a direct way to deliver updates. These are, at the end of the day, MS/Asobo products. I hope the above is sufficient of an update, because we do care, we are working on it and we wish it could have been sooner but that simply hasn't been the case. Thank you 2 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
Annolago Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Ok - the Asobo ones are depending on the FS updates - we get that BUT does not explain the A350. That is fully under your control. 1

Eddie, can you please also check on the A300 because that was announced well over a year ago. That is an issue on it's own. I say this respectfully but everyone has the right to approach this request with a bit of skepticism because it has been promised and then never fulfilled before. The silence on the issue is also a repeat of what was done when it was announced that you would be working with aviaworx. I am still not sure why it was an idea over a year ago and then abandoned with very little communication to others. As for the default you have people who are basing purchasing decisions on hardware based on this. There are other MCDUs that work with popout windows but that would mean another hardware purchase. If that wont be necessary some of us would love to avoid spending hundreds of dollars. I hope that makes sense and you understand. Edited August 24 by etm270344 1 1
rg29 Posted September 20 Posted September 20 It's been a while since we heard anything. Hopefully some good news will arrive soon. Any updates? Thank you very much.

Hi Eddie Been a while. You promised to contact the A350 team - what happened? Please realise that clear communication is a must if you want customers to build a trust in your company's ability to deliver something worth purchasing. All you need is a one of these answers: A: We are working on it and expect to be ready by XX/XX-202X - at least I assume it is in this decade. B: We are not working on it so fxxk off. We don't really care that we said that we where working with with WinWing - we changed our mind or whatever - Fact is you will never get this. C: We don't know as our product was developed by Kevin a 19 year old magician who have since departed the company. Yes, I am being sarcastic but try seeing it from your users point of view. It has been months since we promised it would work and all we get is as useful as the White House Press secretary. Just give us an answer we can rely on.. Thanks 3
Eddie Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Hello, I understand that you want more communication but I do not want to keep coming back here telling you we are working on something and it'll be ready when it's ready. That is the only answer I can give. I do not have an ETA nor any other kind of news to give you. Development regarding this is actively in the works and once it is ready we'll ship it out to the aircraft. I apologize if that is not enough but I will not say anything else only to get your hopes up. Thank you 1 EddieCommunity Manager iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
sirupflex Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Thank you Eddie for confirming that you / iniBuilds are working on enabling the Winwing MCDU for at least the A320. I think this is the minimum confirmation most people have been waiting here for. Would it be possible to confirm if you plan to also enable the MCDU for your A350? Not asking for a date, just checking if it's part of what iniBuilds intends to do. And talking about timelines, is it possible to give a hint of the kind "potentially still in 2025 if things go as planned", or rather "Unlikely before 2026". That might prevent people asking you here every few weeks about the status.
micstatic Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I mean a350 doesn't really translate well. But the A300 does. Hopefully that's in the queue.
sirupflex Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Winwing had the iniBuilds A350 on their list of models they wanted to support with their MCDU. Functionality is very similar. Display is different, of course, but having it in hardware with a A320 style display is still much better than clicking each button via mouse.
micstatic Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Yeah I hear you on that. I've acquired a good amount of hardware programmed by spad.next over the years so I could avoid mouse and keyboard use at all costs!
