MaxiMoose Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Flying from LSZH to KEWR today, I got an ECAM message of a fuel imbalance, which when I first looked, it WAS imbalanced by about 4000kg. I did as the checklist said, turned on the crossfeed and shut down the fuel pumps for the left side engine. But the fuel qty is still going down. Is there some sort of built in random fuel leak failure on the aircraft or is this a bug??
matsparky99 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I had something similar on a one engine inop departure that basically whatever I was doing there was no way to take the fuel from any other source than the main tank of the relative engine. It looks like the fuel system is either not modeled completely or is very bugged. Here is the link to my post about that which never received a response: 1

About an hour after I took that screenshot, for some weird reason the plane stopped using fuel altogether, stayed at 24,000kg of fuel for the entire last 2 hours of flight. Didn't change anything with the configuration of pumps or anything, and the plane kept flying just fine, don't understand... 1
