A350 1000 can't program

The 900 in 2920 works fine but the 1000 in 2024 does not allow programming in either locked or legacy mode. Highlight a box and go to program and box goes away.  If it is higlighted with a block in the box no key entry works.

Apparently the issue is related to a tendency in 2024 for the camera to slowly drift.   By adding a large dead zone to the camera pan  I can program it, sometimes.  Compared to the 2020 version (900) which mostly works well, the 1000 can be difficult to data entry and flys very poorly.  Hand flying an approach is an emergency procedure (I am a real 747 Captain).  I have suspicion this is related to changes in SU1.
