Maickpapa16 Posted Sunday at 10:26 PM Posted Sunday at 10:26 PM Hello everyone, I want to report a rather exhausting problem.. especially when you spend a lot of money on the simulator and the same amount on an addon (A350). I would like to point out that on MSFS2020 I have never flown inibuilds so what is happening to me now on MSFS2024 has never happened to me. Practically since I have had the sim (from day one) I have been really excited to finally be able to fly long haul with the A330 family and now with the A350 series. However, with these types of aircraft when I get to 5/6 hours of flight, the aircraft suddenly out of nowhere or the autopilot disconnects (and that would be the least) or the TOTAL SHUTDOWN OF AIRCRAFT always happens punctually and this thing brings a lot of frustration and anger because as you can imagine one spends a couple of hours just programming a long haul, you do all the SOPs for the aircraft you fly, take off, you are in cruise and out of the blue the aircraft shuts down after 5/6 hours. The cockpit of course fills up with alarms and most of the displays naturally go off leaving only the essential ones powered by batteries and the plane slowly starts to fall because I no longer have control of anything, starting from the engines up to the primary and secondary flight controls. I MUST FIRST NOTE that this only happens on inibuilds aircraft. Has anyone ever heard of this type of problem?
haza2 Posted Monday at 12:40 PM Posted Monday at 12:40 PM I appreciate that is frustrating. I am going to forward onto a team member. 1
nightpik Posted Monday at 08:58 PM Posted Monday at 08:58 PM I got the same issue. When I fly a330 I'am unable to restart the engine a continue the flight. In the A350 the same thing happen but in this case I'am able to restart the engine and finish the flight. This happen to me on the Beta SU1 and on the release.
Maickpapa16 Posted Monday at 09:50 PM Author Posted Monday at 09:50 PM @nightpik in my sim that’s fault happens from day one of the sim, and just with inibuilds aircraft for long haul. I'm very very sorry for this
AnthonS1 Posted yesterday at 06:53 AM Posted yesterday at 06:53 AM (edited) Same happening with me and SU1 and short and long-haul flights in the A350-even occurring a few minutes after I takeoff from Heathrow after setting panel state to ready for takeoff or startup from cold and dark-frustrates me. Maickpapa16 Posted yesterday at 08:47 AM Author Posted yesterday at 08:47 AM @haza2 I'm only reporting it here and on some forums on discord. Anyway it's absurd to spend 100€ on an aircraft and then someone has to stay here and spend time on the manufacturer's forum because the inibuilds planes turn off. do something because only inibuilds has this problem. if i fly long range with FlyByWire or PMDG these problems do not exist.
Flyniner Posted yesterday at 09:27 AM Posted yesterday at 09:27 AM Hello, have you tried to disable crash damage and aircraft stress damage and engine stress damage in the assistance settings in msfs. Maybe that could be the issue I suggest you give it a try and see

Maybe that could be the issue I suggest you give it a try and see I went just to confirm and yes they are all disable. The issue is the engine out of no where they are shut down. So far only inibuild planes does this. I flown fenix and inibuild plane so far in msfs 2024 and only in the fenix I am able to finish flight without issue.
Maickpapa16 Posted yesterday at 11:12 AM Author Posted yesterday at 11:12 AM I also have everything disabled except the freezing effect that I just disabled, so I think this is not the problem. The exhausting thing is that in the sim you can change very little because in any case, since it is a fault that only happens with inibuilds planes and not with other manufacturers, only the manufacturer can tell us how to solve it or someone who has already been through it
