test_monkey44 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 When I take-off in the A350 it sounds like an explosion has happend in the underbelly of the plane. This cannot be right. I know some adjustments are meant to have taken place in version 1.0.1, but I think the audio element still needs a lot of work - not least because the plane currently burts my ear drums - on rotation.
balus Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) probably the nose gear retracting directly beneath the flight deck - pretty sure you can turn this off in the options menus Edited March 6 by balus 1
Tomfkxd Posted March 6 Posted March 6 This is exactly what the noise is - we've altered the mix in this regard for the next version so the blend is softer
jez481 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) I'm afraid I disagree. The "explosion" happens when the aircraft rotates and lifts from the runway we'll before the gear is retracted. The gear retraction noise is something completely different. These are 2 different sound sets. Even with gear bump noise off the explosion is still present!? The question for the Devs is .. "What noise is trigged when the aircraft rotates and lifts off the ground". Edited March 6 by jez481
IniSteve Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Hi. The sound you're hearing is that of the nosewheel strut fully extending as the aircraft lifts off the ground.
jez481 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 That would make sense. Is it really that explosive in real life. I'm surprised no one else has reported it?
