So, I downloaded the Inibuilds A350 profiles for Sim-brief, I plane my flight on there and the import it into the sim.

When it gets to the fuel page, ZFW, Fuel etc.. is all correct as per sim brief, but I always get a DEST EFOB error showing the Fuel upon arrival is always below the minimum required.

I then have to increase the fuel, in most cases by an extra 10,000kg+ some times even more just to get it within limits.

Is this a know issues ? just seems crazy im taking just shy of 85,000kg for a LHR-JFK route when Sim brief only plans 60,000-65,000kg max.

Thanks,

Perry

I noticed the same on my flight today. And then I figured that I didn't enter the step climbs in the FPLN, which once done gave me a correct fuel figure without being in the negative.
This of course makes sense as the Simbrief OFP is calculated taking into account the step climbs and the winds at the different cruise altitudes, so if you programm your MCDU with the first cruise FL only, it will think that you will fly the whole flight at FL320 for example, and thus have a bigger fuel burn.

I run into this with step climbs inserted at times, and also for shorter flights mostly.  You can always just adjust it in the FMS FUEL PRED page.  But it is indeed a bit annoying to deal with.

Same problem here, but on really short flights <1 hour so no step climbs.

I fly this route for training purpose every day the last days and 2 out of 4 flights the warning comes up while I always plan with Simbrief.

Shouldnt be this way. There is a justplanes full length video about Air Caraibes from TFFR to LFPO and they had 6.4T EFOB before push back with winds entered etc. They landed with pretty much that amount of Fuel. Why is it not working here?

I don't see this behaviour at all.

Just round up what simbrief gives you. If your minimum takeoff fuel is 85660, take 85800. Make sure you enter all the correct values for alternate and reserve fuel as calculated in the OFP and don't forget to import the winds. If the flight computer still predicts you have not enough, be sure you have entered the planned stepclimbs.

And don't expect a perfect calculation from the computer. The computational logic of the fuel page is always a bit overcautious while you are still on the ground.

At least it is this way in the narrowbodies, like the A320.

Having the same issue today on a flight from San Diego to London, according to simbrief the flight should be 9h33 and I should land with 8 tons remaining. In the FMS flight time is calculated as 10h and remaining fuel 4t. Winds and step climbs are correctly inputed. Overall nm distance is matching.
