dhiggs92 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I haven't yet purchased the A350 but I've spent plenty of time watching reviews of the plane and everything looks amazing. Despite this, there is one small thing I've noticed which I find a little underwhelming. The way the plane reacts when the gear touches down seems abrupt and sharp - there is no bounce/recoil/rebounding effect, it seems very cartoon/videogame-like. I find this takes away from the realism and dampens the landing experience -I think this would be a really cool and important improvement given the level of automation built into the plane - landing is one of the only times you will hand fly the plane and I think the experience should be as immersive as possible. Take the PMDG 777 for example - the sounds used and the way the plane shakes and rumbles on landing really makes it feel like you're landing a 250T aircraft. I'm not sure if It's just me who noticed this, I'd be interested to hear what other people think! 3
sunake Posted Friday at 01:38 PM Posted Friday at 01:38 PM Yeah the touchdown sounds could be improved. At the moment I have no idea I've landed unless I see the ground spoilers extend on the flight control page. So some nice feedback would be cool.
atlantixyl Posted Tuesday at 04:00 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:00 AM Also as a content creator watching the replay, the wingflex and engine shake isn't there. Wing tip needs to vibrate more, not just flexing around the wingbox. The engine should shake when touching down. Those heavy bitches tried to stay on the engine strut when rapidly deaccelerating/reverse thrust.
