A350 Beacon resets entire plane for a minute, NWS not working at all

When I click on my beacon to turn it on before APU start, it resets the entire Lighting and the ECAM displays tons of failures, after maybe a minute you just get the sounds as if you just turned on external power and everything is alright again. This was the first issue i had several times, then when i figured out that it goes back to being okay after a while i tried to taxi to my rwy and I couldnt steer at all, my tiller was moving, and my nosewheel was moving from the outside view but my plane was just taxiing straight

I had same issues. The BCN I believe is a bug. The aircraft goes dark as the BCN seems to disconnect ground power. Then once the APU is up and running, power is restored. 

As for the steering. Check the options in the efb. Set use rudder as tiller to ON, by default mine was set to off.

When you turn the beacon on, the Ground Power Unit automatically disconnects. It's an option in the EFB that you can turn off.

It's on the EFB options page, select "SIMULATION" in the left hand list, and the option is called "AUTO GPU DISCO" - set it to 'NO' and now the ground power should not disconnect when you turn on the beacon, however it appears bugged at the moment, and disconnects regardless of setting...
