Nilsooo Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hi everyone, I’m having a recurring issue with the new A350 in MSFS 2024 (Stable version). Every time I switch to the cockpit view at the beginning of a flight and the EFB starts up, my simulator completely freezes. The only way to close MSFS is through the Task Manager. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a known fix or workaround? I’d appreciate any help! Thanks!
ste69 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Hi, I have the same problem. Since I switched to Navigraph on the EFB, every time I enter the cockpit after loading the aircraft, MSFS2024 crashes and I am forced to close with task manager. Please Inibuilds give us a solution. I still can't even turn on the plane!! Thanks
ste69 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I opened a ticket to technical support. The answer??? "Install the SU1 Beta version of MSFS2024". Do you think it's possible to give an answer like this. I have no intention of installing the SU1 Beta as it can cause many problems up to the need to reinstall the entire simulator package, losing all the configurations and perhaps other problems. Honestly, it's a disappointing response to someone who paid £80 for a plane they can't even start!! I require a solution to use a product developed for MSFS2024 and not for a Beta version!
LB4500 Posted Friday at 12:13 AM Posted Friday at 12:13 AM (edited) I have the same issue, but in MSFS 2020. I've not yet been able to complete a flight. On every attempt at some point most cockpit knobs and levers become unresponsive. Though the plane continues to fly, there is no way to get flaps out, drop the gear, change altitude or decent modes, etc. Interaction with the cockpit just freezes. On the bright side performance in MSFS 2020 seems reasonable, and I'm getting a lot of practice with the cockpit preparation, before start, and after start flows. It would be nice to get the same amount of practice on the decent, approach, landing, and shutdown flows, but no such luck. I will say this is very similar to a problem PMDG had with the 777 which turned out to be a WASM issue. In all this has been a very disappointing experience. On top of the issues with the MSFS 2020 version It took two full days and dozens of attempts to actually get the addon installed in MS2024. And, after struggling to get the plane installed and loaded in the sim for a flight, I find that the performance in 2024 is very poor. I routinely get 25-30fps lower with the iniBuilds a350 than with any of the Fenix variants. At the price of this add-on, I expected much better. Fool me once... Edited Friday at 12:20 AM by LB4500
