jamlen Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Is the paintkit available yet? It would be great to get a head start on making liveries.

ThePorkyPilot Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Still waiting for this paintkit ? is there any updates or ETA as there must be one.
titan2002 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Wait for the Paintkit as well, need them so much, dont want to fly with a blank livery for my VA. The RL liveries are useless for us :( 3
ThePorkyPilot Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Exactly, you would thing they would release it with the aircraft or at least before so we can be ready.
Eddie Posted February 26 Posted February 26 We tried to get it ready for release, it wasn't. It is being finalized. Really is not the end of the world. The lovely painters will get to work very soon. 3 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com

Its just a pain when you want to create your own liveries but cannot, as most releases come with some type of paint kit.
Eddie Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Paintkits are setup in a different way to what our inhouse creators use. I've heard word its close. We apologize for not having it ready in time, but very soon! 1 9 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
AurumUsagi Posted February 27 Posted February 27 It's been nearly 24 hours now. Where is the paintkit? It should be done by now 1
flying_atco Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Oh no, it`s not out yet like 20 hours after release. Just relax and enjoy the aircraft while they finish it up...or you want some unfinished mess? Sometimes i really wonder if people commenting like this are so old that they are afraid of dying before it releases or if they just don´t have a life.

The point is that they said 'very soon', and I hoped they'd have it ready by this morning. Yet it should have been ready from the onset, as much as I understand that they had to prepare the A350 for release as soon as possible.

The unofficial definition says `very soon is usually used in flight simulation to announce a product that might release between now and never`. I am sure they throw it out as soon as it is ready. But i actually prefer them to fix some bugs and put them at a higher priority than the paintkit. Knowing INI i am sure it will be more a matter of hours than days. Edited February 27 by flying_atco

Ini did say the paint kit is done from a separate team of painters, so I would assume its not the save devs that sort out bugs. And in one of the pre-release adverts there was a statement that it would be released with the paint kit and an assortment of liveries ( which I guess is 50% correct). But the same could be said for yourself complaining about how sensitive it is to fly, where as Ini have had real 350 pilots fly it and they said its pretty much 1:1. its all a matter of opinion. Going back to the paint kit many devs have the kit ready upon release if not before hand. just saying 😄 Edited February 27 by ThePorkyPilot 3

Like going back to the paint kit many devs have the kit ready upon release if not before hand. just saying 😄 You are absolutely correct. However i still prefer the paintkit to be delayed and not the aircraft 🙂 Especially as there are liveries available. I get it that we all have different preferences. And for the sensitivity... thats why i pointed out the Joystick i am using. I am sure it feels totally different with a Brunner Yoke or whatever 🙂

Thats why i want the paintkit ASAP, so that i can fly the aircraft

Don’t let the plane sit around just because it is painted differently. It’s such a joy to fly 🙂 Good luck with the paintkit. I hope for you it arrives soon. 1

SkySimPilot Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Paintkit is out and I wonder how you guys are able to fix the fuselage map issue where it duplicates on some areas specially on the belly side. Imported fbx to blender. Thanks. 1
