Issues with Helicopter Operations at LOJO Heliport

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased the LOWI scenery for MSFS 2024 and I must say that it’s an impressive representation of Innsbruck Airport. The level of detail and realism is generally very well done, and the scenery captures the essence of the area beautifully. However, as a helicopter pilot, I’ve noticed a few issues specifically around the LOJO heliport (ÖAMTC Luftrettung), which make it challenging to operate realistically.

Here are some points I’d like to address:

1. Helipad Fence: The fence surrounding the helipad is much too high. In reality, it is only about 60cm tall and is primarily there to keep smaller animals away. This difference in height could potentially interfere with helicopter operations and the overall realism of the area.

2. Static Huey Helicopter: There is a static Huey helicopter parked on the pad. This is unrealistic, as no such helicopter would be left there, and it also takes up space that should be available for the emergency medical helicopter that is stationed at LOJO.

3. Static Objects: The scenery includes several static objects such as a propeller, a power generator, and a luggage trolley around the heliport. These items don’t belong in this area, and their presence obstructs the space that should be clear for helicopter operations. These objects should be removed to ensure a more realistic environment for landings and take-offs.

4. Helipad Area: The cones placed around the helipad should be removed. Instead, a realistic helipad lighting system should be implemented to match real-world standards, improving both aesthetics and functionality.

5. East Side Trees: On the east side of the helipad, there are trees that shouldn’t be there. In reality, only a few bushes are present, and the trees create an obstacle when approaching from the east. It would be great if the trees could be replaced by more realistic vegetation.

6. Floating Blinds: On the west side of the heliport, there is a floating blind in mid-air. This is clearly an error and should be removed to improve the overall visual quality of the scene.

I’ve attached some screenshots to illustrate these points more clearly. Would it be possible to address these issues in a future update? For helicopter pilots like myself, these changes would make a significant difference in enhancing the realism and usability of the heliport at LOJO.
