xboxmsfs2020playera300love Posted January 7 Posted January 7 So whenever I am on approach, my A300 goes full toga for no apparent reason and won't let me reduce the throttle at all. Please help me! I love the A300, but this problem has kept me from flying this beautiful aircraft. I am on MSFS 2020, by the way, Xbox series X. Thanks if you guys solve this problem.

MadKing Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Are you disengaging the AP on approach or the AT? You push the throttles full forward on takeoff and then engage the AT, when landing if the AT disengages the engines will spool up to where the throttles are set. To avoid this you can either take manual control of the AT on the EFIS or pull back on the throttles first prior to disengaing the AT and then adjust from there. This may or may not be your issue, but this is something that has caused unanticipated engine thrust to me in the past until I figured it out. This also applies to numerous planes.
xboxmsfs2020playera300love Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Sorry I am late but thank you for telling me why this is happening! 🙂
xboxmsfs2020playera300love Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 wait but where is the auto throttle switch
BoeingSpeedbird Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Which A300 are you flying on XBox? I can’t see an Inibuilds A300 available to fly? If there is one, I’m looking to purchase, but all I can see are the LVFR ones, which have much reduced cockpit functionality.
