jdoerning Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 For whatever reason, after what appears to be a successful installation, I cannot find it in 2024 free flight. The folders are in my community folder, but there isn't anything to select. I am fairly certain I have missed something here, is there anything obvious that needs to be done in 2024 in order to see and select it? I can't find any instructions or troubleshooting ideas. Cheers, JD
jdoerning Posted December 12, 2024 Author Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) Still trying to figure this one out, running the ini-manager as admin, running FS as admin ... the 2024 community folder has the inibuilds-aircraft-a300 and all of the sub-directories and files located in it, yet it does not show up anywhere in my aircraft selections for free flight in the game. It has been a frustrating day to say the least. I guess it is time to open a ticket. Edited December 12, 2024 by jdoerning
AlexEDLE Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Are you using an external community folder and msfs addons linker and have perhaps forgotten to tick the boxes there?
jdoerning Posted December 12, 2024 Author Posted December 12, 2024 Turns out I accidently pointed my community directory from within 2024 to the wrong drive, I pointed it to my 2020 community folder on my F drive instead of the 2024 community folder on my D drive. After four years of using the F drive, that is what my brain did behind my back. I knew it was something simple, it usually is with me. I'm back in business now, thanks for chiming in. Cheers. 2
