A330 gear during landing and cockpit lighting

With the 330 and when landing, the rear of the main gear seems to go through the runway and the overall gear touching the runway is not smooth in any way. Can this be improved? I can only compare it to the pmdg 777 which has incredibly smooth landing gear to runway interaction.

It seems the cockpit ambient lighting does not work during 'daytime' hours. I say 'daytime' hours because at a specific time of day, and when the sim switches to evening/night one, these lights would then start to work. By ambient lighting I mean cockpit flood lighting. This seems to be a MSFS 2024 issue as the Fenix also has this issue
