ericnelson7 Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Speedbrakes can be operated without electrical or hydraulic power, so that needs to be corrected. Wheel brakes don't have enough effect to remain stopped at 85%. They also can't steer the aircraft without kicking rudder pedals, though I'm not sure MSFS code allows true caster steering.
Eddie Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Hello, I'll pass this on to the team. Thanks! EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
ericnelson7 Posted September 9, 2024 Author Posted September 9, 2024 Oops, wheel brakes do hold up to 100% power, no bug. My fault: I had 1% extremity deadzones on my brake pedal axes. Brake effect for caster steering would still be a welcome improvement if possible.
Eddie Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Hi again, Non-caster steering is intentional due to the T-33 requiring differential braking to steer. Glad you resolved the wheel brake issue! We have logged the problem regarding the speed brakes. 😊 EddieCommunity Manager IniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
ericnelson7 Posted September 17, 2024 Author Posted September 17, 2024 By caster steering I meant differential braking...the brakes don't yet have enough "grab" to allow that to work. I know PC pilots may prefer rudder pedal steering, so maybe an EFB switch could offer either mode for ease of use or full reality.
ericnelson7 Posted September 30, 2024 Author Posted September 30, 2024 In v1.03 the speedbrakes still actuate without battery/hydraulic power.
