ADF & manual VOR/DME tuning not working

Hey, 

on my last 3 flights I was unable to tune any NDB or Locator (tried at several airports). 

Manually selecting VORs or DMEs on the PROG page is hit and miss - sometimes it doesn't take the identifier (NAVAID NOT IN DATABASE) when like 15DME away from the station but suddenly autotunes it at 5DME (e.g. DMN at EDDM). Wondering whether it's a bug or just a quirk of the real 300. 🙂
