  1. Thank you. This has been driving me nuts for months. Seems only to be the 1000 series and if I'm using lbs that I get this problem. For some reason the FMS adds an extra 20% to the ZFW.
  2. Is that a safe link to open? You only seem to have a new account. Besides, wouldn't it be simpler for Inibuilds to make the default Simbrief templates for the A359 and A35K with the highest number of known seats regardless of individual carrier configurations? Then we could create our own profiles for whatever carrier and base them on the correct number of seats as long as they never go past the max configuration. Also, I do appreciate the fact that Inibuilds has its own texture library. A Japan Airlines one for the A35K and a Malaysian Airlines one for the A359 Wouldn't go a miss. It cuts out the aggravation if going to third party sites etc.
  3. I'm kind of new here so please bare with me, After I take off, I get the indication to throttle down to the CLMB detent. But every now and then when I do this, I get a bloue and yellow message popping up on the warning display regarding the weights and asked whether to confirm. I click yes and clear and the message dissapears but leaves a blue message behind saying "LDG PERF AFFECTED" which remains there for the remainder of the flight. Then at that moment on the left system dispay screen, I get a yellow warning saying something about BTV which I also clear. Also, I've noticed that the auto step climbs don't always work and are sometimes either ignored or have a message saying "ABOVE MAX FL" next to them. Like I say, this doesn't happen all of the time and happens on both the A359 and A35K. I've made sure both my Simbrief flight plan and the aircraft I'm curre tly flying are using the same measure units. So are these known bugs or is it likely thatI am doing something wrong during my pre-flight setup? Thanks in advance.
  4. I did just that, but as it happens the issue came back multiple times so it's not resolved at all. 😉
  5. Well I don't know. I guess that's why I dared to ask a question, I suppose. I have the autobrakes set to 2 in most cases, deploy the reversers upon touchdown and disengage them at around 70kts. I never tap the brake pedals usually as I'm trying to prevent the aircraft from coming to a complete halt on the tarmac which is what usually happens, like I said. Tapping the brakes will only hasten this. Do you work for Inibuilds by any chance? Would you like me to rename the title of the post for you?
  6. When deploying the reversers upon landing, the aircraft always rolls to a complete stop if I disengage reverse thrust at around 70kts. I've even disengaged the reversers a lot earlier at between 90kts and 100kts and it still happens. Is this aircraft supposed to behave like that upon braking? Thanks
  7. Ignore. Resetting credentials seems to have fixed it.
  8. Since the update, no charts will load on the efb as well as the maps.
  9. This has just happened to me again for the 4th or 5th time in a month. Always to be when I'm crossing east to west across the Atlantic. Never west to east or on any other long haul flight I've done in other parts of the world but that could be a coincidence. What isn't a coincidence is the way it's linked to the aircraft randomly veering off-course which I've reported before earlier this week but never got a response. The flightplan appears to have been completely wiped also.
  10. Every so often this happens. I've tried zooming in and out which has only worked once or twice. The only reliable fix is switching to the standard version at the top of the pull-out.
  11. Is there any chance there will be any new A350 liveries in the future? I just tried to recreate a Japan Airlines flight but noticed it was an A35K and there's no JAL liveries for that variant just the 900. Also the JAL A359 has a max passenger capacity of 369 people but the official Simbrief profile for all A359s states 324 passengers max. Thanks
  12. Hi, I'm new here but thought I'd share some things that I've noticed since the 1.1.7 update. I've completed long haul flights from London to Hong Kong, London to Sao Paulo and currently Munich to Charlotte. The yellow efob warning doesn't pop up anywhere near as much as it used to, so that's a good start. However, I've had three CTD's so far. I still get the 'LDG perf affected' message whenever I throttle down to the climb detent after takeoff. I'm usually presented with a yes or no question regarding inconsistent ZFW readings just beforehand. Passenger cabin lighting is no longer visible from external views. At night the entire aircraft is enveloped in darkness. When accessing the FAP I'm also not able to turn off the screen anymore. There is no longer any camera views that see you overlook the wing or engine from a passenger cabin window. EDDM to KCLT A359 Lufthansa: Simbrief gives my starting cruise altitude as 24,000ft. After filing the IFR plan, ATC gives it as 38,000ft. But my CRZ tab on the MFD gives the OPT FL as 34,700ft or REC MAX FL as 35,900ft. I'm still able to reach 38,000ft without any struggle though which suggests the aircrafts physical limits upon climb aren't the factor. Are these issues known about or is this something I'm not doing correctly? Thanks EDIT: I've just had something happen that has happened once or twice before on other versions. I'm exactly 4 hours into the flight and I return back back after going out for a couple of hours to find the aircraft hundreds of miles off course and the clock/FLT completely frozen. Whatever happened seems to have happened 2 and a half hours ago. This has happened before under previous versions and even on the A330's. So not sure if this is an Inibuilds issue or an Asobo issue.
  13. I've noticed that the volume of the engines, flaps and wind from the flight deck can phase in and out depending on if you speak to ATC or switch to external view and back again. This happens on the SU3 stable release as well as the current SU4 beta. I suspect this may in fact be a sim problem rather than the aircraft though.
  14. Hi, I'm new here so please forgive me if I've not posted in the correct area. Since the new update I've noticed the cabin lighting doesn't display in external view anymore. Whether I select main or night modes, when I switch to external view the aircraft looks as if it is in complete darkness. I'm also unuable to switch the screen back off. I uninstalled the cabin packs as my cockpit wasn't loading and use the default cabin variant but now a load of the internal cabin and window camera views have disappeared.. When I used the default cabin in the past I still had window views and in some of the videos that were attached to the update post, it shows the window views as still being there. Is this normal or a 'me' problem? Thanks
