Thank you for the report. Will send back to the team.
Hi Haza2,
the reported shadow issue is also happening on the newly released CAP-4 airplane. It means, that the weird flickering shadows in outside view in MSFS2024 appear on every inibuilds aircraft that I know of. (A330, Cap4, A350, A400m)
Again, this phenomenon is not happening with the Fenix, or the SWS Kodiak, or the Draco, or the Cessna 172.. or other standard aircraft. It's apparently an "inibuilds thing".
Would be nice if you could take this info back to the team, so it can be investigated.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

I guess there is nothing much to say about it, the title says it all.
Not a crucial topic but would be nice to fix it in next update
Cheers,
Paul

This is exactly why I have this issue, it is as if we are forced to use raytraced shadows instead of original shadows. I don't have this problem on the fenix aircraft.
no, enabling raytracing cannot be the solution, because it only fixes the shadows of the plane. the inibuilds aircraft still destroy the shadows of lanterns, terminal, jetbridge etc.. even when raytracing is on

I too am having this same issue with all inibuilds aircraft in FS24
Enabling Raytraced Shadows fixes the problem on the plane itself, the surroundings (jetway shadows etc) stay weird..
Also Raytracing Shadows is too hard on my FPS, so i would like to keep it disabled.

Same here, today has been a nightmare

I think the video says it all...
When I switch to outside view, the shadow quality is just very very bad, flickering like hell.
If i switch to drone camera and fly around with the drone, the shadows are fine though..
The Effect is especially visible in clear sky conditions and with high quality payware airports.
I tested the same with the Fenix A320 and while shadows aren't identical in outside camera and drone camera either, the difference is not as insane, no flicker and just the shape changes slightly.
BTW: It's an inibuilds issue, the A330 by inibuilds that is included in the sim shows the same awkward shadows as the A350 😞

I'm clearing the WASM for the A350 before every MSFS session (MSFS2024), i entered the SU1 Beta for the A350 only and still I'm getting crashes. Today I loaded into the aircraft and it didn't power up when i pressed the Ext Power and Battery Switches, nor did it accept any flight control or throttle commands.
Pity 😞

My flight sim freezes as soon as I want to import my flight plan into the digital flight computer. Nothing works anymore 😞

Yeah,
as the title says, MSFS2024 is freezing and becoming unresponsive when trying to connecting Navigraph or trying to import Simbrief FP.
A restart of the sim will result in frozen sim again when you load your plane onto the apron.
Only solution is to delete the wasm folder and it will only work until you try to import something from simbrief again or try to switch the navdata from sim to navigraph.
This is highly frustrating.
Problem can be reproduced
Any ideas?
very weird shadows in outside view, but fine with drone camera.

I think they blame asobo for this and have no intent of adapting it, if it hasn't been fixed for others inibuilds aircraft either.
Also the other bug that i reported (right throttle lever without sound) has not been fixed even though it should be an easy fix. It seems, customers aren't listened to very much here
