The Airbus A300 was a significant aircraft for China Airlines, serving as a key workhorse in its fleet for many years.
As the world's first twin-engine, wide-body airliner, the A300 represented a new era of efficiency and capacity, and China Airlines was one of its adopters.
They operate both Boeing 767 and Airbus A300 at first, but thanks to A300's big corgo hold,CAL trade their 2 existing 767-200 for more A300.
China Airlines primarily used its A300 on regional routes throughout Asia, although the type did involved in 2 deadly crashes (NKM in 1994/TPE in 1998) they still plays a key role in CAL's network, strengh its network and simplified the fleet
The entire fleet was replaced by A330-300s and removed from its fleet in 2006,marking an end of a chapter.
