G'day everyone, I went about setting up the takeoff page in the fmc for a nadp1 departure. Thrust reduction at 800'agl, accel at 3000' agl. After takeoff, Thrust reduced to climb at 800', however the commanded speed was then showing 205 with associated pitch down commands from the FD. In my mind, it should have me climbing at V2 + 20 till reaching 3000' Any ideas what I might have gotten wrong here? Thanks! John

G'day Everybody, Wanted to share this video recording, no fancy editing I'm afraid, just raw footage. Runway 20R at KSNA is 5701' long, the tablet and performance data provided by inibuilds indicated a performance limited MTOW of 153T. I wanted to see how the A300 would perform in an RTO from this very short runway at a fairly heavy takeoff weight. The results were impressive. I used static N1 of 70% then brakes release. The combination of high gross weight and short runway made for a pretty exciting experiment. regards, John
