Hi there, I am having issues with the FSLTL AI Traffic (injected by BeyondATC) behaving erratically at this airport. On all uses of this Scenery, when 30L is operating arrivals, the ai traffic flies reciprocal over 12R while descending towards the 30L threshold and then abruptly does a 180 and touches down and rolls down 30L. I will attempt to capture some photos if you so require. I have successfully disabled the default hand crafted OMDB by Gaya Simulations provided within MSFS 2024. I do not have any other Dubai sceneries installed.

Any suggestions on how to rectify this issue which is limited to only to OMDB by inibuilds. This wasn’t happening with the default scenery.

One of the D1 Jetways Broken

As can be seen in the picture, the center Jetway on D1 is "unplugged" from it's socket.

I thought this was maybe because of GSX's 3rd-party airport's conflict with jetways. But GSX's Jetways are all disabled in MSFS 2024.

Runway Threshold Lights Incorrectly Placed & BATC Incorrect Runway Detection

As the title says, I'm seeing two issues with the enhanced OMDB.

♣ The runway threshold lights (and side lights) are wrong on RWY 30L and RWY 12L. This is similar to the issues I pointed out sometime ago on the 2020 IniBuilds OMDB here:

Now we have the same issues although this time, it is just on 12L and 30L.

♣ BeyondATC is reading the runway thresholds wrong, and ignoring the displaced thresholds, giving only minimal runway real estate for takeoffs.

For instance, Runway 12R threshold is at K4 and the displaced threshold is at K1, but BATC ignores the displaced threshold, and also portion of the actual runway, starting at K7 (see screenies) Here are some screenshots to illustrate

Hi, i have a 7800x3d, 7800XT, 64GB of ram and the performance at Ini OMDB is insanely bad, on 2024. Yes i have the Microsoft OMDB disabled. Loads of stutters and even with settings turned to Low, and a TLOD of 30. it lags and stutters. the moment i get out of the dubai area i have a TLOD of 400, all ultra settings and 0 issues. for example the Inibuilds LAX performs better. Heathrow is about the same as dubai is for me, and if i would try the a350 on one of these airports. it would be unplayable. I have this even with all things disabled in inimanager for OMDB. Take a look at the extreme VRAM usages - loads of stutters happen, especially when panning / switching camera views

Its worth noting that with ultra settings almost any big airport works fine, I mostly run high/ultra combo. I attached a few screenshots down below in the 777, a320 and a359:

OMDB Enhanced C53 jetway not working

Positioned on C53 in A388 in 2024 but jetway doesn't operate (either using EFB or with GSX). GSX reports no jetway available for boarding/deboarding. This seems to be a scenery issue (GSX isn't a factor).

Still trouble with default scenery

Just bought the Enhanced 2024 OMDB scenery. As with others, I had overlapping sceneries due to the default handcrafted OMDB being streamed in. In my case, the most obvious problem was the terminal and double gates.

So I disabled all three of the OMDB packages in my Library folder in MSFS2024 as others have suggested. I uninstalled and reinstalled the iniBuilds version, restarted and still the same problem.

Next I removed in the Packages/StreamedPackages the Adobo OMDB folder. Restarted and still seeing the default terminal.

I'm not sure what else to do. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

OMDB Dubai (MSFS 2024) – Burj Khalifa from MSFS default scenery showing instead of iniBuilds version

Hello iniBuilds Team,

I am currently encountering a problem with the Dubai OMDB scenery within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

It appears that the Burj Khalifa displayed in the simulator is the default MSFS 2024 (Asobo) version, rather than the iniBuilds version that should be integrated with the OMDB scenery. This leads to an inaccurate visual representation in the vicinity of the airport and city.

I have already taken the following troubleshooting steps:

Reinstalled OMDB using iniManager.

Confirmed that no duplicate Dubai scenery is installed.

Verified scenery priority settings.

Restarted MSFS 2024 after installation.

Regrettably, the issue remains unresolved.

The most recent update for OMDB was released on February 6, 2025, approximately 11 months ago.

I would be grateful if the team could consider the following:

Investigating why the iniBuilds Burj Khalifa is not rendering correctly in MSFS 2024, and/or

Considering the release of an update or compatibility fix for MSFS 2024.

OMDB 2024 GSX Profile: Double VGDS and Incorrect Parking Positions

Hello! Amazing work with this scenery. It runs a lot better than expected and is quite beautiful to look at. I have run into a problem with the official GSX profile for this scenery and am wondering if it is a scenery issue. I am running MSFS2024 SU4B. The official GSX profile is indicated as the active profile in the GSX Airport but the parking positions are incorrect with the aircraft being much too far forward. There is also a floating VDGS at each gate when I know that with the included GSX profile, the VGDS should appear inside the included VGDS of the scenery. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

edit: To anybody having the same problem, it seems that when I re-installed GSX after removing MSFS2020, there were still remnants of the MSFS2020 installation which GSX was using as navdata. After removing the last MSFS2020 files, I uninstalled GSX and deleted all the remaining folders to do a clean re-install. This seems to have fixed the problem.

OMDB Airport Scenery appears to be duplicated / broken

Hi Inibuilds team,

I hope you are doing great and all is well. I am raising a new bug that I have been experiencing with the scenery suddenly. It appears that there might be duplicated scenery being loaded in the SIM, after installing the custom scenery. Here are the screenshots attached for reference. I have also attached a screenshot of the scenery without any bugs, from a video I had recorded in one of the flights.

It seems like there are 2 sets of scenery getting loaded for the airport, not sure why.

Please could you look into this.

Stuttery Laggy Unusable Mess

Why is this airport such a stuttery unusable laggy mess?

Even with airport options turned down/off via the iniManager it's still pretty much unusable due to the insane amount of lags and stutters, even loading in with zero AI traffic in a simple MSFS default aircraft with clear weather. This iniBuilds airport (and Heathrow 2024 to a similar but slightly lesser degree) are the only ones having these issues. All other 3rd party airports I have installed run perfectly fine, smooth and usable (even with bad weather and AI traffic).

I have ensured that the default handcrafted airport has been removed/disabled, and also cleared the scenery indexes folder. This has made zero difference.
I can only assume that these airports are so poorly optimized that they are overloading VRAM?

System specs: Intel i7-14700F @ 5.3GHz, 64GB RAM, nVidia 4070ti, MSFS 2024 installed on a 2TB Nvme drive

Bug with TWY using BATC

Hi, I encountered this issue using BATC, it seems from TWY K7 to K1 its considered to be TWY when its actually the rest of the RWY 30L/12R. I contacted BATC and they said it's a scenery issue.

The texture of the ground gets blurry when you move the view up a bit.
Something is not right with the terminal.

For reference, I haven't installed any Dubai-specific synergies.

It's 2024.

Finally, is this compatible with the Dubai City Scenery from ORBX?
