  •  Close the simulator if it is running.

  • Delete the 'microsoft-aircraft-a310-300' folder. This folder and its contents will be re-generated next time you load into a flight with the aircraft.

    Note: This will reset your EFB Throttle Calibration and EFB Settings so they should re-done the next time you load into the aircraft.

    To access the ACARS page, click on MENU button, then select ACARS by clicking the 1R LSK.

    On the ACARS page, firstly enter your SimBrief Pilot ID by typing it on the scratchpad, then click 1L LSK to input into the USERNAME field.
    Your Pilot ID is found on the 'Account Settings' page on Simbrief website.

    Lastly, click on 1R LSK to REQUEST SIMBRIEF flightplan import*. Upon successful import you will receive a COMPANY ROUTE UPLINK DONE message on the scratchpad. Then you may return to the INIT page to fill in the remaining info.

    * Note: This only imports the FLT PLAN, CRZ FL and CRZ WIND data. All other info needs to be filled in manually.

The tiller can be controlled via the 'NOSE WHEEL STEERING AXIS' binding.

    For simulation purposes, this can also be linked to the rudder pedals for easier use. To do this, go to the aircraft EFB 'Options' tab,  then select 'ON' for the 'NOSEWHEEL STEERING' option.

    ]]>    24082Mon, 18 Nov 2024 07:51:40 +0000    <![CDATA[How to - Fuel & Payload Management]]>https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/24081-how-to-fuel-payload-management/ There is an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) located on either side of the cockpit (Captain and First Officer) which is intrinsically linked to the aircraft Flight Management System (FMS). It is also linked to some core simulator functions like setting your desired fuel and payload.

    Note: Please do not use the Microsoft Flight Simulator weight and balance menu/ universal EFB – this will have no impact, and may cause issues with your flight.

    Simply click the Menu buttons on the left to navigate the pages.

    Payload Page – This page allows you to set the fuel and load and then apply it to the aircraft.

    You can set your fuel and payload manually using the sliders or typing in the values into the text boxes (to switch between sliders and text box, click on the title of each field highlighted by a red box in the image above). 

    Make sure to hit 'APPLY' after setting the desired values. You can confirm the load onboard by switching from 'PLAN' to 'LIVE' tab at the top of the page.

    You can switch between Metric (KG) and Imperial (LBS) units on the EFB Options page.

    Options Page – This page allows you to set various settings such as the measurement units in use.

It does, however, on the descent. However this is very rudimentary in this aircraft and is not always accurate – as per the real aircraft.     If no, ensure this is set to NO on the EFB and calibrate as per the instructions on the calibration menu. Reload the plane to ensure this change is made properly, and you will be able to bind reverse thrust to a button / input on your hardware.

    If yes, and you do intend on using reverse thrust on an axis, ensure you set this to YES, and calibrate as per the instructions on the calibration menu.

    Reload the plane to ensure this change is made properly, and you will be able to use your reverse on an axis with your hardware.
