										Hi Sam had a problem with the Bulldog, the VOR and ADF instruments stopped working, deleated the file and download a fresh copy which solved that problem, however  when loading into X Plane 11 there was a message saying there was a minor problem parsing the VRCONFIG: Bulldog vrconfig.txt, and that I may need to update  the aircraft, or report this to the author, any idea what this could be?

<p>
	Hi
</p>

<p>
	I'm brand new to Xplane after using the demo for a couple of months, now purchased the full XP11. I've been able to fly the standard C172 quite happily, take offs, start on 10 mile finals etc.
</p>

<p>
	I've installed the Bulldog but as a newbie am striggling with some basics.
</p>

<p>
	1. If I load it with engine running it cuts out immediately - I've no idea why this is happening or how to re-start her.
</p>

<p>
	2. If I load on a 10 mile final approach, again the engine cuts out immediately, turns into a glider.
</p>

<p>
	3. Is there an idiots guide to starting her up - for example, I can press switches (following the checklist) but when I try to press the 'start' button (with its cover on) nothing happens
</p>

<p>
	4. I also got this warning (see jpeg below) - not sure if this has anything to do with it ... (I was able to enter the serial # so it is now registered)
</p>

<p>
	I'd appreciate some guidance please!
</p>

	Just purchased this little jewel and my only criticism is the engine sound.  The Bulldog had a Lycoming 4 cylinder O-360 or O-200 which had a distinctive 4-banger sound - rode behind one for twenty odd years.  Your engine sounds like at least six cylinders with a bit of a deisel thrown in.  Another thought - since your installation is a bit different, some kind of pre-advisory would be good.

<p>
	I've just purchased the Bulldog and like it, but I have came across a problem that initially I noticed when flying on VATSIM, but happens when not on VATSIM either.
</p>

<p>
	When I load up X-Plane with 'match real world weather set', The altimeter will display the correct airfield elevation, but the pressure setting defaults to 995mb.
</p>

<p>
	For example at Manchester on load up of X-Plane it displayed the altitude of 257 feet and the subscale reading was 995mb when the actual pressure was 1021mb. So if I set the correct QNH of 1021mb on the subscale, the altimeter read minus 460 feet.
</p>

<p>
	Is this a known bug or something that is only happening in my installation of the product?
</p>

<p>
	Any help greatly appreciated.

</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	I set it up with engine running ticked in x-plane, and then found the chocks still on at the end of the chosen runway. The engine was running , brilliant

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	Came out of the game to google how to fix the problem. Read the handbook, nothing there about removing the chocks. Realised it was B, restarted X plane,
</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	Still ticked engine running, engine dies as soon as the aircraft loads.

	Set up with a default aircraft and flown it, cancelled, set up a change of plane to bring in the Pup, the Pup engine dies.
</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	Closed game, unticked he engine started box, tried an engine start, 8 gallons in each wing followed the pup check list,
</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	Battery on, press prime pump a few seconds, 1/4 throttle, select L, press start, prop turns nothing else happens,
</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	tried the same with R, same result
</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#1d2228;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">
	Opened game ticked start with engines running, have fuel, engine dies as it loads, Notice the battery is on this time, tried an engine start....cos it was running? , Nothing

<p>
	<span style="color:#c0392b;"><strong>REQUIREMENTS :</strong> 1GB Drive space, 3D Paintkit requires seperate Substance Painter license and updated to the latest version.</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span>Included with this paint kit is a 2D and 3D paint kit.</span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>The 2D paint kit includes the base white livery, dirt, textures and a default example of XX654 so that you can see how each object is mapped. We also include a setup for basic normal, roughness and metallic layers for you to manipulate and construct your own normal maps</span>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	The 3D paint kit <span style="color:#2980b9;"><strong>*recommend*</strong> </span>includes a file for use in substance painter. With this, you get most of the main exterior and the base livery already setup for you. Making liveries via substance in the Bulldog is an absolute breeze!

	We've sent CSLs for review to POSCON so they can automatically put in their CDN. It was sent rather late, so I'm unsure on what the timeline will be for that. However in the meantime, since we are not distributing any POSCON assets, we can put up a temporary download link for any users that wish to use them.
