I have just purchased the T-33 for use in msfs 2024. I’m on Steam for PC. I’m also on SU3 build 1.5.8.0 in sim. I loaded in for my first flight and much to my disappointment the canopy is not visible in external view although it appears to be present on internal view. Is there anything I can do to remedy this or have I just got to wait for someone to update something ?

The canopy scratches are done very well. But...I think they show up a little too much. Sure there are times when the scratches are evident, such as in certain lighting situations. But if my canopy looked like the one in the sim I would have it scrapped.

Also, the scratches would only be visible as bright streaks not the black scratches we have now. And the ship looks a little like it has been outlined in a charcoal pencil under cloudy/rainy conditions.

guys, i'm really sorry for double post, i ask this in ms20, and told you about new behavior in ms24(ms20 flickering under sun>ms24 blind matte glass under sun)
you are answering there it sent to developers, but next update change nothing. some really old ms20 models even freeware works perfect. just change material of the glass to standard, whatever used for this aircraft is broken under sun in both versions for ms20 and native ms24. i literally have 0 any troubles, some strange engine behavior* at low speed high alt i don't count. but this glass... i just don't understand, why? i have really many models, and only one big radial p-40 have exactly same behavior in ms20 as t-33 native 24 in ms24. all other aircraft works good in this context.
thank you
*low speed at high alt can kill engine, but in our case temperatures gauge go to max, and still there till restart engine in the air. as i said it's not a problem for me. but gauges under sun are awful.

Conversion?

There have been some fantastic repaints released for the T-33, including about a dozen paints representing just about the entire history of the plane in the RCAF.

However, the FS2020 paints don't work on the FS2024 update. Which leads to a pair of questions:

	1) Will there be an updated paintkit for the 2024 model?

	2) Any chance the layouts, etc. are similar enough that the 2020 paints can be easily converted, vs having to totally rebuild them? If so, any tips from your livery team on how to do this?

	Thanks!

In the new MSFS 2024 we have to create a character and I always like to have an authentic looking pilot with appropriate flight suit, helmet and oxygen mask. I find it strange in the simulator that we can not have a properly attired co-pilot. I do like that the size of the pilot is represented as a little better size (as in taller) with the created character.

I was hoping that Microsoft/ Asobo will give us more options on the co-pilot or that inibuilds will work on having a new pilot and co-pilot option for us in the future.

In any case thank you very much for this new release
