Generally said: FS Global Mesh never causes issues. It always is the airport causing issues. An airport needs to be properly designed to work with any underlying mesh. For that it must come with an own micromesh in high LOD to come on top of any other mesh installed. You can not build on grounds you do not own. What if LM changes their default mesh? Would you ask LM to change it back or how to disable it? There are so many 3rd party HR meshes
around, that it is a basic development need! Some developers just don’t do that. If you disable a part of FS Global mesh, you will see hard ugly borders at the end of the disabled tile. Do you really want that? You should ask the devs of the airport to fix that or, better, consider HR meshes already when starting development. Otherwise we will never get good airports designed properly. See PILOT’S LEAL (Alicante) and LEAM (Almeria) airports. That is, how it should be done. Or ORBX as well have options for FSG mesh installed/not installed in several of their products configurators (Olbia, e.g.).
We are always willing to cooperate with any developer, even give a way dev versions of our mesh. They just have to ask …
